Rates and Insurance

 

 

Rates:

My fee for a 45 minute therapy session is $160.  I offer a sliding scale for those who are experiencing a financial hardship. Phone calls under 15 minutes are no charge.  The fee for phone sessions over 15 minutes will be negotiated.  I accept: Mastercard, Visa, Discover, cash, and check.  PayPal and Zelle are also accepted for payment.  My user name for my PayPal and Zelle accounts are my email address: jennifers.lcsw@gmail.com.

Insurance:

As of April 9, 2022, I am no longer in-network with Horizon Blue Cross/Blue Shield PPO, Federal Employee, Empire, and Anthem PPO plans.  I am an out-of-network provider for all insurance companies, starting April 9, 2022.

Out-of-Network Insurance:

If you have out-of-network benefits, your insurance company will likely reimburse you for counseling services. This typically ranges from 50% to 90% after a deductible is met.  You should check with your insurer for the details of your particular policy and to see if pre-certification is required. I can provide you with an invoice containing the necessary information that insurance companies require to process your claim.
